Hangar Sortie #5: This P-51D named "Hurry Home Honey" is painted in honor of Maj Richard A. Peterson of the 357th FG. Peterson scored 15.5 aerial victories and 3.5 destroyed by strafing in the European Theatre of Ops. Peterson's wife would end her letters to him with "hurry home honey" which he had his crew paint onto his fighter.  (Size: 16x20 photo, canvas, & litho poster print)
